Bandel is a machine that performs automatic hole punching on flat or toothed belts. It has a punching capacity of approximately 3600 holes per hour (1 hole per second). It can precisely process various hole shapes such as circles, squares, triangles, and stars through computer-controlled operations. Regardless of the hole pattern, its programmable structure allows the punching process to be carried out automatically. Even in tough materials like Kevlar-reinforced belts, burr-free hole punching is guaranteed thanks to a special punching die.
Conventional punching methods (laser or press mold) are usually slow, costly, and problematic in terms of achieving the desired precision and cleanliness. Bandel introduces a unique punching method that is the first of its kind in the world, and this feature is protected by patent. One of the key features of the machine is its ability to punch closed (endless) belts by connecting them directly.
